My New Blog!!

Its been a looonnngg time coming but I have upgraded my blog! I know can host bigger more fabulous pictures and stories of my photography journey.  Continue to check back as the 2010 wedding season is about to begin!!

We all have seen the news. We’ve spent countless hours glued to the tv watching Anderson Cooper report on the awful devastation happening in Haiti right now. The people who were lucky enough to survive the earthquake are dying waiting for medical help, water and food. Haiti is just at the beginning of a very long road of building their entire world over again. My husband and I have a sponsor child through World Vision and have been amazingly proud of their work in Haiti over the last few weeks. Its not too late to donate! Please continue to keep a place for Haiti in your heart and if you can – find room in your wallet to support World Vision’s efforts in Haiti….

Maternity Shoot: Sarah!!

I already have 2 wonderful nephews and now there is a 3rd on the way-little Andrew:) Last weekend I was in town for my nephew Jacob’s birthday party and my sister Sarah and I decided it would be so fun to do a maternity shoot:)What other natural place is there for me to shoot my sister’s maternity pictures than outside abandoned buildings in downtown Detroit? It was blistering cold, but Sarah was a great sport…we even had the joy of Mishelle from Bliss Photography joining us!!
Hopefully little Andrew will be gracing my blog in a few months:)

Wedding: Joe & Danielle!!

It was an amazing day…the sun was shining, there was fresh snow on the ground, and the entire town of Grand Ledge was beautifully decorated for the Christmas season. Joe & Danielle were to be married! I actually had a hard time falling asleep the night before as I was thinking of fun pictures I’d like to do – I was so excited:)Danielle booked me about a year and a half ago and thanks to the magic of facebook have been able to keep in touch and get to know each other better. She looked absolutely stunning!! They planned a beautifully vintage wedding with a super fun wedding party helping them celebrate:) The entire day was filled with fun and laughing – thank you so much for letting me be part of your day!!
